Nah you just sux at him. The thing is Azir IS still "worth" learning, although "worth" is a vague concept. There are many other "high skill" champions who you can put 100 games into and get better results than Azir. But Azir is still a strong champion if you dedicate A LOT of time to him, we are talking 150 games + You also need to have a lot of skills to play Azir
- perfect csing cause he's item dependent.
- excellent warding both for yourself and teammates cause his midgame roaming is relatively bad (no matter how good you are at him)
- have a strong idea of your limits (if you can do, eg a shuffle) and a good decision making (do you actually shuffle their adc, is it worth it if you get blow up ? probably not) etc.
- attacking moving like an ADC
It's possible to buff him in small ways that might help a beginner player, (hard autoattacks at earlier stages of the game for last hitting/csing since you usually use your soldiers against opponents anyway) but any major changes will results in pros abusing him.
He can either be kept as he is, or changed so that he's easier to play. And you basically have to decide, do you want to probably feed for your first 40 games and then get so-so results for the next 50 and then actually be good with azir to carry a game after 100? or do you want to just play Ahri and carry after play 6 games. The choice is yours.
