Reset Matchmaking ?

I haven't played the game for 2-3 years. I used to play a lot and was an okay player (silver)... but now, let's be honest, I really suck. However, I feel that the matchmaking always puts me in a team taking in consideration my old records (number of wins I had 2 years ago) and I'm always "stuck" with teammates (and against people) way better than I am. I'd like to be teamed with people of my actual level. Is there any ways to do that ? I don't feel like creating a new account since I put sweat and tears into this one. I also tried to play against AI, but let's be honest... it's not really that hard and it feels like a waste of time.

Any idea what I should do ? Because I feel like the only thing I can do is to continue to lose until I get the hang of it... I wouldn't mind that much the losing strikes but I dislike the idea of being a real nuisance for my team.
