The matchmaking systems not doing its job?

Few weeks ago, i've decided to play morgana support to do a test. I've played about 20 total game of morgana, 12 of them were support and 8 of them were mid. In the mid lane, I won 6/8 and in the the support role, I won 4/12. I know that it's harder to carry with support but my point is that my teammates could not win without me playing a big part in the team. This is not enough data to efficiently tell if the matchmaking system is flawed or not so I will be updating this post by playing more support with other champions such as Taliyah or any other champion that can do support + another role.

This post will be updated in june.

8 games and 12 games isn't even close to enough of a sample size to draw any sort of conclusions. Especially if you're only recording your statistics. This is best measured by taking data directly from Riot's API of a random sample of games. You can't just measure your own data. This is such bad science considering how many flaws there are in your experimental design. I'd be willing to help you if you have any questions but basically as a premise you cannot be both the subject and researcher in an experiment. It inherently biases and invalidates any data you collect.

Even if you did do 100 games and you found a 30% winrate on support and a 75% winrate on mid it could honestly just mean that you're a better mid than you are a support and have no bearing on Riot's matchmaking at all.
