Ekko, thoughts?

After playing a few games against Ekko as numerous champions and different positions on the map, I really think that Ekko's kit needs a nerf. I adore the concept of his kit and his lore, but I feel as though once I see an Ekko on the enemy team, I have to dedicate all of my time to ensuring that Ekko gets practically no CS, and no kills. I see a lot of potential for Ekko, but as of right now he is very much broken. I hope that this is improved in the next patch.

Any thoughts? I'd love to hear.

His entire kit is a kit of telegraphed moves. It hasn't been a week and people are still on the "OMG A CHAMP I DONT KNOW HOW TO PLAY OR PLAY AGAINST IS DOING WELL, KILL IT WITH FIRE" train.

If you're that scared, find a friend, and 1v1 until level 8 a few times in customs.

See, I played a shatload of Ekko in normals when he came out, got pretty good with him. I understand hit kit completely and what he can and cant do.

And I havent lost a lane AGAINST him yet. When he hits free week play the shat out of him. His kit is all pretty damned easy to avoid.

His Q outgoing is weak, easy to dodge the return.
His W is extremely telegraphed. I havent gotten caught in one yet. Not. One. Time. His E is a dash thing, but it had short range, just dont get close to him if you dont think you can take the hit. Plus if he doesnt proc twice off of hitting a full Q his dash loses alot of burst.

His R, just watch the damned thing. You already are supposed to be watching everything else, is it that much to ask for you to know where his shadow is?

If you shut him down in lane and the rest of your team is doing fine, then you all will be fine. Save some CC for him, kill him quickly if he has a kill or three to take him out of the equation, and win. If your team is sucking and losing well then Ekko makes it worse but clearly wasnt the problem in the first place.
