Haven't played in 3.5 years, is there a new champ that play like Old Karma yet?

Nope.

And new Karma plays less and less like her with every touchup Riot does. Shieldbomb gone, duality mantras gone, battlemage/enchanter identity gone. She is either a poke mage now, an obnoxious peudo-mundo or a boring shieldbot.

Let me know if you would enjoy this rework suggestion though: A Detailed Post on Karma and her Twin Dragons I am always interested in the opinion of Karma mains, especially Old Karma mains.

I actually had to research what old Karma was, but from what I can tell, the closest you'll get to what she used to be would probably be Lulu Lulu, and even she isn't really all that close to what Karma used to be.

No other champion has an R that empowers your other skills. That is still an ability unique to Karma. They seem to have scrapped that for R's that transform. (See Jayce, Nidalee, and Elise.)

There's probably also a case to be made for LeBlanc or pre-rework Rengar. If you wanna get really technical, you could also say that Renekton does something similar. But we are getting a bit off track here.

The point is that Karma's empowering was unique as it gave you a different or rather opposite effect, instead of more of the same, when empowering her basic abilities. Unluckily Riot forgot about this concept.
