There just aren't many people left who actually know how fun league was even in defeat.

The rest just spews the nonsense they hear from riot or what others heard from others.

The people defending current league are those who benefit the most of its current trash state, e.g. support mains who can now pick alistar or rakan press two buttons and win the game.

it differs for everyone.

lower seasons was the place for people to mess around and simply have fun with the game besides any objectives (from what i've heard) for me, the game had its charm right after SR got visualy updated (also before that but i absolutely loved the new map)

anyways, the point im trying to get out there is that S8 is the biggest failure ever as runes reforged turned the whole season into preseason where you dont have enough bans to get away all of the bogus they put in (irelia and akali for example)

Doesn't matter.

Even champions which counter these champions hate playing against them. They're toxic, unfun, and frankly act as destructive outliers on the design graph.

They promote almost all of the "creep" issues that people have complained about for years now. Well except creep block, in fact coincidentally most of them aren't even impacted by creep block that much

Really the issue is their agency. The tools riot gives them tend to constantly give them control over the pacing of the fight, which makes them feel like they are always making the decisions (even if there's no winning decision) and their opponent is always playing reactive. Which makes the player feel like going against them strips you of your agency.

I would argue it is because you don't have to have good micro to do well as an ADC right now. It is all about macro and baron calls. If it was S7, every good ADC would be able to flash malphite ult.

Lethality Jarvan is, Camille can just stun and then QQ you for 1000 true damage, yasuo is high mobility and can probably kill you in 2 Q's late. Irelia barely needs to touch you 4 times before you die... The label "assassin" means nothing. These champions can just walk out of fog of war and kill you before you have time to do anything other than use flash.

Also winrates don't correlate to fun or enjoyment. I'd rather eat a bowl of razor blades and milk than play against some of these champions.

They correlate to your original post calling something a meta that isn't, it's not all about what you find enjoyable either. You probably find a team centered all around the adc who sits back and right clicks enjoyable while their team ccs for them, that's not enjoyable to me, that's the most cancerous playstyle in this game in my opinion.

Okay dude you fight for this instaburst meta that drives the game into the ground. You do you.

I value outplay potential. Being rewarded for dodging skillshots and playing around enemy abilities. If I play morgana into blitz I have to think "I can't shield before he throws Q because then he will R the shield away and hook my adc anyway. If he throws the hook and it lands, can I use R stopwatch to get them to disengage" things like that.

Then you just get blue Kayn, who runs through a wall at super speed WQ and you die instantly... If that's the brainless game you want to play then why not just play Snakes and Ladders with yourself?

never judge how meta a champion is just based on their winrate. Best thing to base their standing in the game is their pick rate and playrate. Winrate is usually inflated or deflated based on how hard the champion is to use and it's skill curve. Just because a champion is hard to use doesn't make it not meta.

false and backed up with nothing zed combo has 22 s of cds without any reason and he needs to hit 2 skillshots so is so easy to outpoke him btw his base dmg is so low they nerffed his as and e dmg so it does so little btw nowadays mages can take 10 armor from runes and keep building armor so no zed dont guarantee u any kill
