I love kayle and the design of the champion, but I want to play her in ranked. I was wondering if Kayle would be good at them moment since we have champions like Fizz or zed or are very popular. Thank you for any feedback. (I am silver V right now)
If you know how to play safe with her really weak early game phase yes. But most comps this season rely on good early game champions to snowball ahead. (IE: lee sin, zed, fizz, darius, ect) So it makes it alot harder for you.

I would say, she is very late-game heavy. If you or your team can't make it to lategame, you will never hit a real power spike.
The real question from Silver-Plat is not "which champion is good" but "am I good on X champion" and "can my team at least stay even." If you play it enough Kayle can absolutely hard carry and can win just by splitpush if your team doesn't collapse.
Every champion is good if you know how to play it, especially up to Platinum. You only need meta champs if your skill isn't good enough to compensate for the shortcomings of your preferred champion anymore, and it keeps you from climbing further.
