Can anyone tell me why Morde gets a free dragon
Morde's winrate is meh, his kit is meh, he's great in worlds tho, at least 2016 he was.
Why, with all logic tho, does he get a free drag witthout spending his ult.

Because Ghost Dragon's are freaking cool and unique to him.
The cost is that Morde can't use his normal ultimate while he has a ghost Dragon, which is just about the best part of his kit to be honest. 10 second DoTs have a lot of items to abuse them.
Because that's where most of his power budget's allocated at.
He has below average base stats, a very meh kit and doesn't really have ways to contribute to his team beyond just pure damage. The dragon clone also relies on his team actually getting the kill credit.
it's far from free.
He has some of the ugliest skins so they need a giant dragon to cover up those pizza feet
