I know each camp gives eneough xp to level up so I believed that the support or adc who leashed sapped xp. When asking a friend he stated that it is impossible to take xp from jungle creeps without killing it yourself is this true? whos right or are we both wrong? Thanks in advance
you can take xp by standing near it when it's killed. that's why you level up in lane without killing minions, same concept
Your friend is wrong.
You can still leach XP of jungle monsters if you are close enough to the monster when the jungler kills it. That's why when leashing, those leashing the monster for the jungler often walk a way before it is killed to prevent taking XP from the jungler.
Unless they changed it and I forgot with the last patch, you can still leach xp from jungle camps without killing it. The xp radius is just really short.
