White loading screen after champselect, then pop up that it failed to load.

After champion select ends the client transitions to loading screen with both teams champions displayed, but my Macbook pro the screen goes to blank white for 20 seconds until a pop up informs me that the game was unable to load. Started happening after I was disconnected from a game and every game since it happens.
