Uma nova Seleção de Campeões a caminho

yo guysBlitzcrank .. I was looking at the boards in the Brazilian server and one of the riot of employees posted a text with the title " a new champion selection is coming " so I translated and now im gonna show it for you guys ...if theres any mistake . im sorry but english is not my native languege... ................ Soon we will launch a new way to select champions and enter a match, which will replace the current team builder for normal games. The idea is that in a near future it will also be available for ranked matches. Still takes a while to arrive, but wanted to tell you the main features:

  1. It all begins with the entrance in the lobby where you can invite friends to play with you.
  2. In the second step you will indicate two positions that you want to play (mid / jg; top / sup etc ...). We did some studies and found that when the players provide two position options, the teaming works better. There will also be a new option called "complete", for those who want play in any position needed to complete a team.
  3. You will then be taken to the new selection experience champions and bans. We made some major changes, so that all players have strategic importance in this process, not only the first player in line.
  4. The game begins. Our major concern here has been to minimize the chances of misunderstanding between players and improve staff training time (including players with very high or very low MMR). Riot Presto (BR)

Ya it's "Team Builder Draft". You can get a little more info about the Ranked Draft replacement on Lyte's ask.fm page. There will also be an option to 'Fill', and they expect to give incentives for playing high priority roles. Your MMR will also be adjusted for playing outside your normal role based on how well people in your main role normally do going to the other one (such as a Top main going Mid).

I hate it. I don't want to go to team builder to not get my role, have my champion be banned, and be forced into a 1 top 1 jungle 1 mid 2 bot meta.

Way to remove the best parts of team builder Riot.

I wish they would leave team builder as-is and just leave this as team builder draft or replace draft pick with it since this is replacing ranked draft pick as well.

You obviously have no idea what this even means. It still allows for bans and counterpicking, but you still are able to (if eveyone in your game agrees and follows what they qued up for) get your preferred lane. Basically what this is doing is taking away the arguing in champ select on who gets what lanes, and allows you to counterpick/ban champs like ranked has right now.

I do not see the issue with queing up and saying to your team that you do not want to do the meta as a 1-1-1-2 (top, jungle, mid, bot) and want to play two jungle. If your team is ok with it then you can do it. But if they are not then oh well. The meta changes and if something new comes that is better than what is played now then people will be totally ok with doing 2 jungle or 2 top lane or whatever.
