Key Fragments pls rito

Alright, normally I really don't care about getting fragments or chests. But I just had an AMAZING game with ... I went 23-1-16 and had 360 cs, S+ as well. But even with carrying my team to victory I get no reward? I should AT LEAST get a key fragment for that. I currently cannot get any chests, I understand that, but me and my friend BOTH got S rating and neither of us got a key frag, what is the deal with that? Do I just have to feed and have someone else get an S for me to get one? I am getting no reward for this , and that is just plain stupid! I am Silver 3 and nobody plays in my elo. There has to be SOME reward for doing so. Please Riot.

Your grade has no influence on getting key fragments, only if you win and how many you've gotten already.

They really need to up the rate they drop tho... like I haven't gotten a keyfragment in a week and I have only opened 2 chests (not counting the ones I bought).

Well, I get that. But the drop rate is like one in a billion , there has to be something wrong with the system. I know they had said that your team getting a grade of S or higher guarantees you a fragment, but from what I am seeing that is completely false.

No really, grade has no influence on getting key fragments. You or someone on your premade getting an S guarantees a chest drop if you're eligible, but they've said right from the start that key fragments only depended on winning.

More people in your premade also increases your odds which I forgot to mention initially, so that can help too. The 'how many you've gotten already' part is also fairly relevant since the drop rate decreases with every fragment you get, resetting 30ish days after you got your first fragment. I don't think it's been quite 30 days since hextechs release, so most people are pretty dried up by now.

I agree they're a little on the rare side, and could use a tweak so solo players aren't quite so out of luck after a chest or two's worth of keys, but a lot of complaints I've seen pertaining to the key rates seem to be based on misunderstanding how the fragment drops work in the first place.
