Heartseeker Ashe Ult Hitbox looks HUGE

So last game we were playing against this Heartseeker Ashe and she shot her ult at me. Even though on the screen it appeared like i dodged by what appeared to be a couple of feet, I still got hit by ult despite being all alone and what visually looked, far away enough to dodge it. However I haven't noticed such a problem on the other Ashe skins. I couldn't get a screenshot because it happened only once. Will try and get one when I can. Is it normal or is this actually a bug?
