Support Items In Solo Lanes

This is a massive issue, why are support items being allowed to be in solo lanes ? as of s9 support items were nerfed to not be in solo lanes AT ALL. as of this season they werent, what is the point of allowing it now ? i had a talk with riot on twitter where i stated the issue, they rejected it, then upon further investigation in youtube and looking into it (thank you zero). they found it was an issue, look ill make this simple THE KOREANS are using specral sickle xayah adc and its working wonders, top lane senna can use it and work wonders, nerf it ! before we hit s10 and this is a ranked issue ! Please just help me remove this entire thing from the game, this is beyond broken honestly. i was told by this player support person to get the devs to see this so i am doing just that. BROKEN as ever, thank you for listenting, remove this entire thing and revert it to old support items. Namely with spectral sickle by the way, obnoxious

I don't even buy support item anymore on support role it's trash don't buy em at all.

Why the fuck would you not buy an item that gives you 1000 gold and free stat upgrades?

Yeah no, I would rather just focus on building myself strong so that when my adc throws a temper tantrum and quits the game, i am not completely crippled and helpless. I dont buy support items, May never again. Help break greedy adcs out of the mindset that support is just their personal lane-bitch.

The smart ones will adapt, the stupid ones will throw a tantrum and stop playing, meaning more CS for me.

...you know the farm penalty goes away once you hit T3, right? Which is like 10~12 min into the match.

support role is ruined my by existence of Senna other champions are gutted, look at my match history and copy what I'm doing as Ivern support, you'll do much better than with normal support.

id still say hook supports dominate more, even things like senna cant really counter a blitz or thresh hook out of nowhere, they arent able to shield, or escape easily, you just gotta land a hook or something, but spectral sickle just...yikes on taht item

was that patched in recently? because afaik it stays regardless of t3. I did hear from other players that this will be removed at some point though so supports arent so gold starved

My bad. I thought it was already in. Either way, you can just sell the item. You're already in the black. You make like 1200 gold by full farm and selling it.

very accurate, the adc strat is get item, get free gold and poke while some cs, mainly cannons and melees not so much ranged since its a waste. sell at tier 2 or when you can sell for a big item, bam, youre now perma ahead, amazing lol

id say tahts a horrible concept ONlY because of my lux sup i got that uh doesnt build sup item, only dorans, yea...nice winstreak she has, just about 4 losses from doing that, maybe more if i bothered to check

THANK YOU EVERYONE, ID LIKE TO SAY I TOLD YOU SO, RIOT IS FINALLY REVERTING SUPPORT ITEMS TO OLD SUPPORT ITEM STYLE WITH NEEDED DUO PARTNER TO HAVE IT WORK. ofc... this means ADCs like senna can still use spectral sickle and what not to abuse its gold value, specifically senna because C9 Zven uses her atm with just poke to get ahead in souls and eventually gold, but TOP AND MID LANE SUPPORT ITEM CHAMPS ARE DEAD, FINALLY. TY RIOT
