The long que time for ranked

So yhe, im currently waiting (at the time i made this board) in solo que to play ranked, and since today there was a new feature added by riot which says that due to long que times for high elo players or long que times for player who play on a time when there are less players playing than normal we have added the feature that you have a extra fill role. Now that fill role is on by me i dont know why since its vakation and the middle of the day but ya know what ever.

Now lets get to the point, i am currently in a 35 min long que for gold 2 with an esstimated que time of 7 min, the roles that i picked are adc and mid so yhe it would take a while but the new feature of the extra fill role is also on and than im just beginning to think that this does take a while. Than i think of yesterday when this feature wasn't in the game, or currently not active at the same time with the same elo and same roles and that took less than 5 min to play.

So, can anyone please explain to me why this que time now is so long? Is there a big server down? Or is there something wrong with the que? Or are there just not many people that want to play so that i have to wait so long?

I hope this get's fixed soon if there is any problem at all. Thank you for reading this and leave a comment if you know anything
