Lag with new pc

I just bought A new PC with a Intel i5-8400 6 cores and with a Inno3D GTX1050 TI Twin X2 4096MB graphics card but i am still lagging in game? on my old pc I never had these problems

Check your driver's, sometimes they aren't set up right on new computers.

Lagging has nothing to do with performance. Unless you mean low framerate, then make sure your drivers are properly installed and lower the settings until it runs smoothly.

A lot of the time the integrated graphics on your cpu is being used instead of your actual gpu. Here is a thread from a while back detailing the problem.

Check where you’re plugging in your monitor’s HDMI/DVI cable, and make sure it’s plugged into the GPU and not just the motherboard’s onboard graphics ports.
