Because the champions are not balanced for that game mode and the random nature of it makes it not suited for competitive play.

How does a random nature invalidate competitive play? Luck has a significant factor in card games too, yet competitive play works there. Even League's existing ranked queues have an element of luck to them: that's why rank requires a number of games.

Because noone would play it

If your concern is the quality of your teammates then I recommend queing as a premade.

nah that's what makes it great, and i don't care about my teammates but i'm sick of people whining and flaming each other and the champs could be tiered like ABC so its not 5 useless champs vs sona and jayce the whole game

Ranked ARAM would be a great addition to League, but, aside from specific implementation details, there's at least two issues holding it back.

  1. Riot seems deathly afraid to support Alternate Maps for some reason. One patch a year per map is evidently all the resources Riot is willing to spare from SR.
  2. There's a vocal segment of the community that's somehow offended by the idea of competitive ARAM. Apparently adding a new queue will completely ruin the existing queues.
