Riot take a look at this

Riot needs to do something to get new players into the game. When I started to play it was because my friends told me to. I hated the game first and i didn't know what was going on even though I watched and played the tutorials. But when i learnt the game it was really fun.

The problem is that people stop playing before they know what the game really is about. Riot need to make people keep playing until they know if they like the game or not. Maybe with more tutorials and information?

One big problem with low level games is the amount of smurfs playing. I am leveling a smurf and i feel bad for the new players with 2-3 smurfs each game. I think riot can fix that if they start to sell accounts. That will lower the amounts of smurfs in low level games and at the same time kill the black market with league accounts. Then the problem is that permabanned players will just buy a new account. To solve that you will neef to link the new bought account to another account and if the smurf gets banned your main gets banned too.

I think that will be a win win for all parts. Riot will stop the black market with accounts, new players will get better games and more experienced players can get more accounts without spending a lot of time leveling a brand new account.

I think this things will make league of legends a better game and hopefully it can get a lot of new players from this. Upvote if you think this is some good ideas. Thanks for reading.

Yeah I agree. Most people are just gonna try this game and give up. Especially if they had any idea what they were getting themselves into.

Just think of the very basics:

  1. learn all champions abilities and damage expectancy
  2. learn all items
  3. learn role responsibilties
  4. learn to last hit and trade with some degree of competency
  5. learn when and where to ward

And that is just the very basics! That could take someone like a whole year to figure out without some real help.

It takes no time to level an account anymore. It used to be a month or two process but now can be done in a week or two.

Selling accounts makes no sense, the black market will still exist, it will just shift to cheaper or include more content. That and the game was never intended for account leveling, the only reason to level an account is that your supposed to learn the basics in the process. There is no balance for pre30 because it does not matter.

But riot realized that it's not the steep learning curve that's hard (although it is incredibly steep), it's that the playerbase has crippling low IQ and refuses to learn how to play because of inherent toxicity (can't tell me nuthin syndrome). They are still lowering the learning curve (rune removal, mastery rework, champ rework, nerfs on everything) but they are now doing so at the cost of game quality.

Also I don't know if you have been paying attention but this last year riot has dumped a metric crap ton of cash into marketing for league, as well as incorporated a lot of the game changes into marketing gimmicks, half the preseason changes are aimed at that (the half that isn't aimed at making the game autism friendly).

Garen, udyr, and master yi made me want to stop playing. If one of them gets a kill and than it’s game over. Lots of my friends who have recently started playing are very discouraged.
