Shaco Main Seriously Questioning Why I Play Anymore

I was never one to complain about the game and really care what happened but I've been struggling recently to comprehend how this makes sense. Shaco has been a champion that's always been in an interesting place but never really super popular or overpowered as far as I'm aware or can recall. Besides the very VERY few one tricks only a handful of them have ever even gotten past D3. Anyways. Can someoen explain why Evelynn, Rengar, Khazix, Wukong can all still one shot people and actually assassinate targets while having an escape but Shaco does less damage than all of them WITHOUT an escape? The only thing shaco has is his ultimate after you Deceive into the enemy team and that literally only takes half a second for the team to kill your clone and then kill you right after if not just shoot the right one to begin with. Evelynn can use her ultimate to get out, Rengar gets MS and CC immunity with his W (Not sure about anymore) Kha can jump away again, Wukong goes in with his invisibility but then crowd controls with his ultimate so he can walk away as he's ulting while they are airborne etc. Just super annoying it feels like my character is genuinely subpar compared to every other assassin in the game.
