I'll start with saying that the game mode is GOOD but has flaws.. and not good ones.

You might also wonder about two-three things reading this:

Are you going to complain how difficult the missions are? Not really, I think the missions are possible and even funny to do sometimes, instead I'll talk about how the RNG destroys the mode though. (Based on my opinion)

Are you going to complain how finding good people/people who offer their help for your missions is difficult? The main problem are the Onslaught missions, coordination is a very important factor, but! I'm not saying that its impossible to do the Onslaught missions without a premade.

Are you JUST going to complain? No, I'll try my best to suggest some ways to solve such problems.
The Missions
The missions offer LOTS of stuff: Tokens, decent amounts of BE for newer players, an odyssey orb and an odyssey gem, in brief: good stuff.
But.. why are you ranting about missions if they are good for you?
Hell if I'll tell you why!
The Onslaught missions are the problem of the event:

You'd need a premade if you would want to do a certain missions. All Ziggs/Sona/Yasuo and more of them. You might tell me: I don't really need a premade to do such quests, I can simply ask! Sadly you might need a premade BECAUSE there's a HIGH CHANCE of people who need to do other missions, and that might "trigger" someonelse by leading them to: spam ff, int the game and ask people to report you.

The specific missions of 4, 3 and 2 augments equiped. This is a very tricky one, since not everyone needs to do the 3 augments one, especially the two one, most of the people you'd meet would be stuck at 4 augments and rarely at three.
My suggestion, to solve the missions problems.
Simply make a certain mode for that mode (cough), for example:
Onslaught - > One For All Mode, Four Augments Mode, Three Augments Mode and Two Augments Mode.
In my opinion, this would solve the problem of missions for the Onslaught difficulty.
RNG
Now this is something I REALLY HATE, there are times where the mission is possible by only leading to little to no problems to where the mission is just impossible, and I'm talking about Kayn's Boss Fight too!
Like, I know that it would be plain boring seeing just the same type of alien, all the times, doing the same things but.. this can be solved too!
By balancing the amount of monsters spawned it, would be good for both players and their computers too.

I apologize if I didn't get my point well on these two videos, but what I'm trying to say (if you didn't get what I said by the videos), is that making the game too "random" is just bad, because it would mean that only the luck factor matters and nothing else does. (Apart from your dodging skills and build)
What do I suggest? Either lower the damage of certain aliens or make them more "predictable/slower", to balance out their high damage. (cause I can't accept being spammed to death from 20 skitterbeaks when Kayn is in his 3rd phase)
If you would like to express your opinion about the event or this post go ahead, I'll accept even insults from people who think that I'm doing this post only because I can't get a certain mission done :D.
