Zilean summoner 3 summoner 4
Thinking of Zilean jungle possibility Pros:

  1. E extreme slowing cc.
  2. QWQ combo high damage up to about 40-50%
  3. Ult on team mate after trading more than 70% HP with enemy.
  4. Potential to fake enemy team that support Zilean is afk causing jungler (maybe rengar?) to support bottom lane.
  5. QWQ could be fast jungler in mid game
  6. High mobility with E. Cons:
  7. Low health, low sustain
  8. requires big leash at Lv 1.

Please comment I really hope this is a good invention=]

I'm pretty sure his early Cooldown on his QWQ will mean his early clear is really bad (and his late clear since he's reliant on that entirely). He's just too squishy and could easily be invade by a panth, lee, kha'zix, jarvan, nunu

If the enemy let you afk farm, it "might" work. But even then, I still think your clear would be really bad... Def test it out in a custom to see if you can clear at all with no leash before playing it in a game.

No serious jungler can depend on a leash, you never know what happens and being shut down right away will leave a lot of team mates raging (instead of helping, sadly)

However Smite support is becomming increasingly more popular this season and as you said Zilean seems like a great pick for that. Just spend the critical levels in Lane, then go roam. Might also be able to do this from Mid, push lane hard, then go jungle.

you'll need to take attsp reds for runes to kite during first clears. with the golem buff you should be fine, although it will take a fuckton of time.

You will most likely die at 2nd camp after blue lol. Even Karthus has difficulties already with that 1 sec Q AoE damage.

@Original Poster

I have a build which has similar benefits to yours.

The fact is that Zilean is not "jungler" material (No sustain, no sustained damage, squishy). Using Q often depletes your mana bar FAST.

I run Zilean as a utility support (Who does NOT USE Q, only W,E and R), he is also able to apply a ridiculous slow to enemies, able to speed up the carry into safety and can use his ultimate on the carry or a ganking jungler.

I am not saying your idea is bad (I'm glad someone is trying something new, that in itself is genius among all of these copycats), but I think Zilean simply works better being in a lane assisting a carry (Because his kit offers strong utility for carry babysitting, but no fighting power for monster killing).

Possible if you get someone to leash every camp for you.

First of all, to correct everyone that was talking about "leashing" and "sustain", ranged champs don't need it in the jungle. If you bug the mob's tethers correctly you rarely even get hit. You can do it with 0 pots if you are good enough.

Zilean could actually make a decent jungle, if he fits into your comp. Would be nice with poke or hard dive comps.
