Removal of autofill. (Specifically in ranked.)

Autofill is something that I don't think one single person enjoys. As someone who doesn't particularly play ranked often, I played a game just now where both me and my friend got autofilled after being in queue for about 60 seconds, and it raises the question. How does everyone else feel about this?

Autofill consistently tilts players, forces them to play out of their comfort zones in times where they're really supposed to bring their A game. Now, that being said, I always tell people that they should know how to play 2-3 champs in every role, but I still find it frustrating when I get put into positions where I don't feel like I can perform my best.

I would rather sit in queue for 10 minutes and get my roles guaranteed than sit in queue for a minute and just get ran over by some kids who get their roles for free because they play those roles all day uncontested, while riot's algorithm is essentially "After a short amount of time, in a game where you want to progress and rank matters, we should put you in your most off role so that the community that this game is founded upon can run you over with their harsh words and give you 0 motivation to play."

There should be an option where you can disable autofill, but it increases queue times as a 'penalty' or consequence. Riot is a client. People can easily open other games while they sit in queue. The higher elo-longer queue time players do it all the time. Now, I don't think this suggestion should be implemented in Diamond+ because theres only a couple thousand people up there, so naturally, people will get autofilled, but I do think this is a fair and easy suggestion. This wiill -Lower flame rates -Allow people to play where they're comfortable, giving them confidence going into every game -Give these players 0 excuses when they do poorly. Nothing you can do when you queue top, and get autofilled support. You're already upset. -Lastly, it makes players more confident going into promos, knowing they won't get autofilled, should they enable it.
