Previously, Blinds would check your status when you began your attack. This meant that sometimes attacks that looked like they should have missed would land right on target. With this fix, you should feel a lot better about your tossing a bird into the eyes of enemy marksmen. ”

Q - Blinding Assault

GOUGE 'EM VALOR : Blind 'miss' window changed from on-attack declaration to on-attack launch (For reference, 'attack launch' is when the missile is created for ranged champions, and the moment before an attack hits for melee champions)

So before, this could happen: Vayne "declares" her AA and starts her initial animation [Blind Check] Quinn Q's and Blinds Vayne Vayne "launches" her AA (when the actual projectile is created) and the attack completes Quinn gets hit

But Quinn is like "Wtf I blinded you bro"

NOW this is what happens: Vayne "declares" her AA Quinn Q's and Blinds Vayne Vayne "launches" her AA [Blind Check] Vayne misses

Does that help?

So they changed when the "blind" starts. Before, if the target you had Q'd was in range to attack and started the animation before your Q made contact, their attack would still go through because the enemy had "declared" the attack. Now, the blind will work as long as the projectile is not traveling or "launched" before the Q makes contact.

Basically, this make it so enemies won't hit you while they are "blinded", unless the projectile was already in the air. This happened a lot with the old set up and made people rage because it could mean winning or losing a duel.

blinds just happen immediately rather than brief delay; teemo got the same change since global blind change--- in rare cases this is a small buff, but realistically nothing changed at all
