Are all games of League of Legends dropped serverside when they go over 7 hours?

So I managed to prepare a custom game with the help of the Vandiril community on Sunday - we went all out on infinitely stacking champions or champions that would work very well with the likes of Gathering storm - but to our disappointment the game froze at 417 minutes, just after the buff timers on the top of the sreen went blank (first the red/blue buffs, then a bit later Baron/Dragon did).

While we did break quite a number of records (I'm now traumatised from gettine oneshot by Fiora's 100% Max HP true damage passive, get that rapier away from me!), we wished we could've pressed even further. Vandiril will release a video on the game soon enough, for now here's one screenshot of its state just after it crashed. Side note; does anyone know the current/previous Sion HP world record in non-practiceTool games? Found this one on old Sion, 12h game, January 2014. Total hp >92k, can anyone top it?

So for my question, is there a way to go even further past that 420min time limit, or do we have to do everything we want to do in under those 7 hours? Also I wonder when exactly was that changed, and why? Worries about server load getting to big or people sabotaging the servers with infinite botted games?

I think that they will be dropped from the server at some point because the server can't support the game for as long as 7+ hours and I'm not a genius on servers but I do believe the sever will eventually crash if that game had kept going for that long
