MMR is beyond crap

I'm really sick of your stupid MMR system. It is very indeed crap. Just remove it. What the point? Someone won a few games, so he has relative high MMR. So am I. But somehow it is 10th game in a row with people, who just don’t understand the core principle of game. They keep feeding very badly, dying ten times through game, from the very start. WTF? It won’t help, if you ask them, kindly, before game to stay alive. They just can’t. You want to have fun, go ARAM or single game. Why ranked?! Please, please, please, do it right. Make a match-making system based on KDA. It is the only way it would work. All this crap about winning and losing has no sense at all. I’m tearing my ass really hard, playing just one-two champs, a lot. Somehow I have KDA about 3, and the majority of my team has below 1. You just can’t win such game. Rito, it is crap. Direct your efforts to something worthy. It is simple and effective system, do it.

All that matters is whose nexus blew up. Everything else is irrelevant.

You are saying that kills are more important than actually winning, but your teammates don't understand the core principle od the game? Hmm....

Not kills - deaths. I say, that you should try not to feed. How is it 0/10 is winning? You had bad start, it is okay. But if you died 4 times in a row before 10th minute doing same mistake… It is strong correlation between skill and KDA. I just don't want to play with idiot, who feeding non-stop and don’t understand, that if that a case, you should be more careful. That’s where KDA matters, not wins. I had MMR 1400, and now below 1300. Same skill, same champ, same KDA. What went wrong?

The way the current meta is all someone needs is 2 kills and +10 CS on you and you arent even safe under tower. Its not them doing it on purpose, they literally just cant.

Yeah, but sometimes it is obvious stupidity. It can’t be recognized as feed, but essentially it is. Extremely reckless game isn’t good, especially before 10-15 min. You understand it, I understand it, but the majority doesn’t. And that is reflected by KDA. Sure, rito will never consider this idea, but if they did, they could make flexible KDA, that accounts KDA through game, including streaks. Basically it is same MMR, but applied to KDA, not to wins/lose.

I believe the point that wanted to be made is that objectives have and will always be the key component to winning games. Kills open opportunities, but you can still lose a game as a fed team/player. It's not improbable to throw it all a way due to a lack of proper objective focus.

Kills or deaths are the same in terms of placing kda over wins. By your logic a 1/0 loss is better than a 5/5 win.

Putting kda over wins means that if your team is behind, the best "skill" strategy is to hide rather than risk a hit to your kda by trying to come back.

It also means that if you do have a bad start but the team is winning the better player will farm kills to boost kda instead of just finishing.

What I mean, is that 1/0 is better lose, than 0/10 lose. At least you could learn something. What I mean, is that 1/0 is better lose, than 0/10 lose. At least you could learn something. So it isn’t rare, when you can win game with one mate 0/10 (and not supp). Suppose, he won 5 games in a row with 0/10. It could happen. What’s next? Is it good for his future teammates? He won’t learn nothing, except it is possible to win with 0/10 with some luck.

I do undertand what you mean. The problem with putting kda as the measurement for skill. Is that kda becomes more important than the win.

It is possible to go 0/10 five games in a row and win all of them but highly unlikely. If you could do that consistently, then you are doing something to help your team....keeping the enemy focusing on you while the rest of your team secures the win is a strategy.

It much easier to go 1/0 than it is to go 0/10 and I can do both without caring about the end result.

So, basically it means, that my high KDA and overall damage is worthless? And I should play more reckless? Ok, I’ll try, maybe you onto something.

I did not say they are worthless. I'm saying that KDA alone does not measure skill and is absolutely not more important than the win.

If your KDA and damage are high and you are consistently losing, then there are other factors you are missing.

A one for one trade is probably not worth the death but one for one trade that allows your team to take an objective or two is a better strategy than playing it safe.

A jungler diving to steal baron not good for his KDA but can secure a win for the team.

Yeah, but I do all right. Pushing, saving teammates, participating almost in every fight, stealing baron/dragon and etc., while dying on occasions, and still it is streak of loses. Just nothing happened. Before it was long streak of wins, because all idiots played against me. It is just lame. You either wining non-stop or losing non-stop. It doesn’t make any sense. I’ve moved from silver 5 to silver 2 in few weeks, but now I was reduced to silver 3 second time… and my skill obviously increased. I owe opposite team till 15-20 min and then we lose, because my team constantly dying. And most time it is pointless deaths. It has nothing to do with win-loss ratio, it is pure stupidity. I have no ideas, how to escape this hell. System is broken.

Thats the nature of mid silver unfortunately. MMR is a bell curve centered at mid silver so a ton of people are bunched together within a relatively small range. A 3 game win streak (by skill or luck) can put a silver 5 player into a silver 1 MMR and vice versa. Add that new ranked players start at the mid point means you also get the mix of both new players and smurfs and silver is the most unpredictable rank.

I placed silver 5 this season due to a couple lucky wins and am still dropping to where i belong. A streamer I watch just hit gold bouncing between silver 1 and silver 5 for six months.

It will be annoying with streaks but you climb if your skill is there.

I'd rather play with a guy that wins more games but dies twice as much because he has good game sense, over kills mcdudebro who loses every game he plays but gets teh highest score.
