It's really useful I play trynd mid I literally just roam steal buffs secure dragon, team fights, chases damage on players. etc... people think I'm trolling but actually works nicely. You can also use it for heimers turrets.
OhOkYea1 votesbeen thinking about it but unless more team mates take it, it seems a waste. If more take it, then baron/dragon can go down much earlier and much faster which is the main appeal for me. Actually went up against a team of 5, and all 5 took teleport and smite. They almost lost because they got cocky but at the end it paid off.
PerishSoftly1 votesI like taking Smite on supports like Nami and Janna who already have strong disengage or CC because you can get Chilling Smite to further increase their CC/disengage/engage and you're often very close to Dragon so you can help secure it quickly. With the changes to smite, and the infrequency of it being usable in lane, you often have it up on a 15 second CD when you really DO need it.
