Suggestion: New matchmaking option called "Fill Minus"

TL;DR: Let players select more than two roles, perhaps by altering the Fill option from the start so that you can select preferential order of the available roles.

I play mid and bot lane. I'll play jungle if I'm autofilled and I'm in a good enough mood not to dodge that one-in-twenty or so chance of getting served jungle. Top lane makes me nauseous. If I could somehow queue something like Mid > Support > Marksman > Jungle > Top, that'd be really convenient, especially since I'm sitting in lobby right now and can't decide which role I want to try and get matchmade for. Matchmaking would be a bit smoother, and autofill can have a vastly reduced chance of dishing out a role the player doesn't want. Everyone wins.

So Riots autofil system is buggy.

Iv seen a game where Jungle was Autofilled by a Top/Mid and Top was filled with a Top/Jungle and Mid was field with a Top/Mid

When they COULD have just made top Jungle and Jungle Top OR Mid Top and jungle mid and Top jungle. But NOPE we had to have a Jungler that had no clue how to jungle. We found out about this after the game had started by looking up the team in op.gg

But Riot Mods will delete this post because you are "Protesting" a gameplay issue in gameplay

Exactly what I was getting at when I made this post. Shame both devs and communities are perpetually napping or this would be common sense.

I don't think it would be bad; however, I worry about how you would code that in a way that it wouldn't be abused. I could see at high elo (which I know is a small population) that a system like that could easily set up win-trading.

but for us normal players, it would be cool to rank our roles so "our worst" or "least favorite" would be the "last chance autofill" then again, what do the numbers say? Would everyone just put "support" in the last spot? and not help the system at all?

Well, don't allow support (or whatever position is the least popular) to be excluded. Problem solved

I never even said anything about excluding. I just said preferential selection. The guy coming up with terms like "last chance autofill" understands.

Oh, sorry. In that case, what's even the problem of many people putting support last? Since they can still be assigned it

Exactly. This system is ONLY positives.
