As a Kalista main, I still haven't found a One For All game where it's not 3x harder to play her. And usually I'm the only one who knows how to use her.
I just think it's because she has absolutely no synergy with herself and it just ends up being a farmstealing fest among bot and top and mid just keeps dying.
Functioning as intended.
Some champs have great synergy / combo opportunities with themselves (Lux, Anivia, Blitz, etc), some do not. Just the way things fall.
For the game mode?
You'll want champs who can quickly stack their procs together (Tahm, Darius, Gnar, Vayne, etc) or who can chain CC (Lux, Morgana, Blitz, Thresh). So far in my experience, there are two strategies to playing All for One; the early game rushers and the late game crushers. The early game champs will be ones who have an overwhelming edge in fights early on, but who start to fall off late game (especially against tanks)
