Can someone help me?

I'm relatively new to LOL although I'm an experienced HOC player for Android but the transition seems to be a more difficult road than i thought it would be. I can average 10+ kills a game in HOC with few deaths having a vast knowledge of how the characters and mechanics work and all there but with LOL it just seems like I can't ever really improve and lose most of my matches. I can do alright with Kog as I'm best with him but I like tanky roles and enjoy Rammus's playstyle. I've done alright a few games but get destroyed most games getting accused of feeding and what not. Smurfs end up getting really angry the majority of the time. I try to gank and my taunt doesnt seem to last anwywhere close to enough for my teamate to help me finish them and mid-late game the focus fire on me just completely disintegrates me rendering me useless in team fights. I'm using a build with a 77% win ratio (http://www.lolking.net/guides/368078) where for Kog i found a diamond build that works pretty well. I understand the difference between heavy AP and AD but it doesnt seem to make much of a difference in how quick i get stomped. I've watched how to play videos for Rammus and still end of failing most of the time. I would greatly appreciate it if somebody could help me grasp this concept better because as a casual player I am still greatly struggling. Thank you in advance!

Practice makes perfect. It took me a full 2 seasons to fully grasp how to play this game. You'll get better with time. :)

How many games have you played throughout your League career? I find players don't start to make big progress until they've played 200 games or so. At that point, the macro game starts to sink in and they start finding their way.

Rammus isn't the greatest in teamfights, as even though he is tanky, his taunt is only on 1 person, and most of the time because of youre speedup you'll end up right in the middle of them. One advice i could give you is to plant wards in the enemy jungle, and maybe try to roam with your speedup trying to assassinate 1 squishy or etc. For your ganks, you need to try to come from behind (from the jungle) as you will have more chance to succeed, right about to gank tell in advance your teamates for a better followup. Hope this helps and if you ever wanna play with me (im not the best either) IGN: Red Sky Grishka

Smurfs really ruin the experience for beginners

Rammus isn't going to have the strongest early ganks unless you hit Q on your enemy. You should then wait a moment for them to stop being cc'd before taunting them to get the maximum CC time.

It also just takes time to learn the game. LoL is a big game with over 130 champions. Trying to learn the abilities they all have, their damage output with different builds throughout the game, etc. etc. is a lot of work.

Playing jungle Rammus, it looks like you gank too much. When you're not actively ganking, you should keep farming your jungle - it gets you gold and experience. Much worse, if you're close to one of your laners, experience for the creeps gets split between the two of you, while the opposing laner gets full xp. This puts your laner behind. If you're endlessly hanging out in the brush waiting for an opportunity to gank... you're not actually helping your laner, you're hurting him.

Two days ago, you had 20(!) cs at the end of a 20 minute game. That's pretty atrocious. At that time you only had one item completed. No wonder you melt when focused, you don't have the items to be tanky because you don't have the gold to buy them.

Your cs score on Kog'Maw is also fairly bad. By 36 minutes in the game you should have killed way, way creeps that 120. Try a few bot games, and focus on last hitting creeps to get that sweet sweet gold.

Finally, remember that the goal of the game is killing the enemy nexus. Killing the enemy players facilitates that, but that is not the goal.

It's too early to even worry about this. You are not even level 30 and you will not be able to win against smurfs. You just need more experience. Pre-30 games are completely unfair. Just try to enjoy the game. You will probably spend some time in bronze, but the games will be more fair. Again, this early all you can do is practice. people have been playing this game for years and you are just starting.

New players don't know one simple rule : Farming wins you the game
