Are we maxing Q on Kalista now or still E?

depends on the matchup, max q against adc's with higher range but against vayne or lucian or a champ like them go e

I typically max E first on her if i'm in a matchup that suits longer trades. Like if I have a Leona support, and need to go all in more often. Maxing E first does more overall damage in lane, just not up front.

Max Q first if the enemy AD carry outranges you and you have no reliable way of stacking E on them. Also feel free to max Q first if you have a poke heavy support like Karma.
