How Can I Actually Achieve S Ranks More Often?

Although I dropped a score like that, I still did not achieve an S rank for Caitlyn. I am pushing for level 7 on her, but if S rank is so hard to achieve how could I actually get it.
Is there a trick to achieving S rank? Also do you think it's too hard or too easy?

Maybe this is obvious, but play statistically low picked champions.

On specific characters, I'm going to tell you that S games are a matter of chance as much as skill. Esp. bot lane. You've got 4 people down there, and anyone can give anyone else an S game. Honestly, I think these new barriers are built in as a de facto time sink. Which is nice, at least with 7 I know you've bled in the mud with that champion.

KDA isn't the only thing that matters. Please understand that and you'll find the answer. Grades are determined by KDA, warding (placing/destroying) , towers taken, dragons/barons/herald (taken), CS, overall amount of gold, the difficulty level of the champion played.

If you want to achieve more S ranks, you should do so by learning the game and playing better...

Although I dropped a score like that,

because you don't get that KDA is not your "score", KDA says little to nothing about how well you play, and that getting a bunch of kills **in a long, drawn-out 5v4 ** is not impressive play.
