Now Xerath is useless.
He doesn't have the burst to kill the backline outside landing 3+ shots of his ultimate while the backline doesn't have shields/regen/lifesteal. He doesn't have the damage to hurt a tank even when built for penetration.

Definitely not worthless. In fact, with his insanely long range, he's one of the few mages that CAN still safely damage the back line despite the threat of the front line (which is largely why he's less effective against tanks). If ryze or Cassiopeia or aurelion couldn't damage tanks for example, how would they ever get to the back line?

That champ is never useless, even when realistically they should be.
OtterlyLost1 votesI have also never seen a xerath be useless and I have a friend who mains him. ._. He complains about ahri but even then, he still does the most damage in the game with the least amount of deaths
Tahminatrix 1 votesXerath is almost entirely long range aoe damages....hes not there to burst tanks he is there to help set everyone up to be finished off by either an assassin or an adc, or a jugger/battlemage.
Hes literally the posterchild of a siege composition with waveclear.
