Kindred's Face Upon Death

So I've been playing ARAM today and noticed, not on all deaths, at times your body will turn to black smoke and Lamb's mask will appear above your corpse. I have only talked to one other person that has seen this happen as well. I get the concept that Kindred is death and he created life to help from being lonely, but did not know Riot was going to foreshadow him, also I want to know why it only happens sometimes. Any help would be appreciated.

It's just an easter egg that's been going on. Sometimes when you first spawn you'll get their mark above your head too. It's totally random, just somethin to get you hyped for the new champion.

wow i also saw it today and went googling it cause it was for a brief second and i was sure im crazy for a second lol nice to know it happened to someone else tho. for me its happened like u described, someone died, then i saw his favce in the brush.. thanks for posting it! :D

yea I'd really like to know when and why, or if it is just random to cause some interest in the character.

i think maybe it happens if someone dies in a brush and another thing .. it might be happening if theres a bard in the game

I was in an ARAM with no Bard, and didnt die in a brush, I was actually on the other side of the lane. I think people thought I was going crazy when I said I saw the face :3. Im really glad others saw it. I wonder what makes it happen!

This is just a thing Riot does to tease new champions. They drop easter eggs related to the champion to create hype in the community. It's completely random by the way.

I believe the masks reply in the way that you died? When you try to run away from death, the wolf's mask appears, showing that you tried to run. If you face death, the lamb's mask will appear, showing you accepted death. This reflects the champion itself.
