[Colorblind] My friend can't play Twisted Fate, please adjust TF's cards in Colorblind Mode

My friend has an unusual Red/Green colorblindness, so they really struggle to see TwistedFate TF's card colors even in colorblind mode. If the cards are already adjusted for the mode, please make the values contrast more.

It's awful for me to watch my friend be unable to play a champion they'd really enjoy due to their colorblindness. Rito please help.

(If this is the wrong section for this topic, sorry. Let me know and I'll put it somewhere else.)

EDIT: Because somebody brought this up, Learning card positions still means only getting 1/2 of the major visual queues that a normal player would. Especially since the pick a card skill starts on a random card, which can be disorienting in the middle of a team-fight where there's a lot of noise/movement (EX: MF ult). Other players could trust their peripheral vision, but with the card symbols being more abstract and lack of color, trusting the edge of your eyes for something as precise as that skill's overhead card position indicator isn't reliable at all.

Really they should just number them, or add in a distinct shape of some kind, paired with the color.

Square, Circle, X, or something.

Although something to note, the further away you have something from the center of your vision, the harder it is to identify it's color. Most of the color of your peripheral vision is fake, created by your brain pulling from old information and reconstructing the image.

Just tell your friend to cut it out with the colorblindness. By that I mean get him to cut out his eyes and embrace the darkness. Nocturne

As someone who is colorblind, I totally understand his plight. In the meantime, I would just try to remember the UI position of the cards above TF's head.

On a similar note, I would like to bring up another color blindness issue with the new camouflage vs invisible UI. I cannot visually tell the difference as easily when my champion is actually camoflaged because I'm told they changed they hue to be this light red color, but I can see invisibility on certain champions mostly alright since they made it a staunchly blue hue.

Rah that sounds deep and frustrating as hell, I hope they do something soon...

That sucks to hear and I feel sorry for your friend. Color blindness is an awful condition.

There really needs to be more colorblind variety in video games overall, since "colorblind mode" usually is the most common variation.

He could just learn positioning (last one is the gold card) when pressing the E but who am I to tell you the obvious

They should just have the cards say 1,2,3 and call it a day. It's hard to fix all colorblind variations.

Thanks for the responses. :) I think it would work well to just make sure the color values are strong. So to a completely colorblind person, one card would look white, another grey, another very dark.
