So league has been around for 10 years. But we are currently almost at the end of season 6. One season lasts roughly a year. So does this mean that there was no ranked for the first 4 years?
Puffing Daisies3 votesThe first 4 years were the Alpha/Beta stage, so ranked wasn't really a thing. They had a ladder of the best players, so you can kinda see a pattern of players that eventually would become pros, but the game was too bugged to be competitive to the level of other Esports.

Puffing Daisies2 votesYeah, StarCraft and WoW have been around forever, and they had competitive sections of the game. Im pretty Phreak used to be a competitive WoW player, but I think I just heard it mentioned off hand. But I know competitive StarCraft was like the first true Esport

Or at least 18 months. It was longer than the other seasons.
