just a thought but can we get rid of the new masteries? im tired of deathfire and thunderlords and warlords and grasp and all that "we want masteries to influence the game" talk
i don't want masteries to be a huge deal, i want skill to be a huge deal
i hate keystone masteries honestly they are killing the game for me

Season 4 was prime time.
Well, that's your opinion honestly. Personally, I'm glad they added keystone masteries. They do add a bit more diversity to the game (do I want TLD for better burst, SRS for a quick escape, or get DFT for superior trading?) Also, I didn't like the Season 5 tank meta. When every match had a Jarvan or Vi, you get a little annoyed when you can't escape their ults without a QSS, dash, or flash.
Honestly, I absolutely loathed early-mid season 5. Cinderhulk meta was probably the worst experiences I've ever had in LoL, but I'm biased as I had no interest in tanks back then.
I only played s5 for about a month. thats when I started. and I liked it then a lot more. we have more diverse builds with items. now only ad carries have diverse item builds since all they added is new adc items and removed fighter items and ap items.
also the adc changes weren't all that great since they kinda overtuned them which lead to a current too much damage meta.
mid-early season 5 was the worst

Season two was the best, but anyway I'd say after that mid S5 was the best and so far S6 has been the worst, so there's not really a contest here.

Season 5 was the death of early-game based champs, lane bullies and snowball strategies. Season 6 introduced interesting itemization for ADCs (bringing back into the meta the long forgotten, fun as fuck to play, Losecian), proper choices for hybrid champions with Guinsoo+Gunblade, a fuckton of options for flat Armor penetration (which is one of my favorite stats since I love AD Casters). There's still some lack of balance but I trust Rito to create a satisfying environment in the end.
Biased vote. Season 6 is no where near its end, while Season 5 had alot of ups and downs before reaching a sort of equalibrium in its last half before juggernauts hit.
