What determines your top 3 champions on your profile?

Hello Summoners,

This looks like a pretty straight forward question but it is not for me. What I want to know, is what determines your top 3 champions? It is the champions with the highest score, or the champions with the highest mastery level? For example, if I have a Viktor with 100k mastery points and mastery level 5, and I have Kha'Zix with 30k but already mastery level 7, which one of them will be shown?
