Issues with New Match Making

So in the new Champion select, it has been really hard to get a game because it takes 30 seconds for each person to hover over a champion that they might play and it's not even mandatory and if you don't choose a champ that you might play, you have to re queue. what the hell is there to say. you fucking pick a champ and thats it. you don't make us wait 30 seconds for each teammate to hover over a champ. Also, people often don't know that it is there turn to pick a champ because there isnt a noise. people often go watch youtube in match making and rely on the noise to let them know it's their turn. but now, there is no noise, everyone is dodging because they time out and it takes 40 minutes to get a damn game. im only in gold and getting challenger queue times. 4 consecutive dodges because people dont know it's their turn and time out. Also, why is it mandatory that you lock in? for the past 4 years you didnt have to lock in, it would automatically lock in for you. this is also another reason why there is so many dodges. people dont know they have to do that. My suggestion is to remove the thing where u let your teammates know what champ you might pick. thats what chat is for. and make it so you dont have to lock in. this is extremely frustrating and it is hard to get a game.
