Robocop is the Tribunal now. This will only make the game worse.

I have been on the wrong end of this horrendous attempt at controlling player behavior for 4 years. I am 33 years old, I have never had a negative impact in a video game.

I am never reported for my words, but my choices in the game. Despite being comfortable in mid Diamond MMR, I get banned or get accused of trolling because of how I play, and I see very clearly the source of the problem with player behavior.

• A majority of players in this game are extremely delusional. They play too much, and they think there is fame or fortune in the high ranks.

  The truth is, a handful of people play competitive out of millions. They train specifically for competition, they have a team, and a goal in mind. They are not spending their entire days raging in ranked.

The second type, streamers. These people are good on camera and interacting with people. High level players get more views, sure. But if you are not a good streamer nobody will spend time watching you anyway.

** This game is meaningless fun for everyone else. Nothing happens even if you reach Challenger, you get reset at the end of the season. **

• Every player has been cheated out of wins or their game time because of trolls. So much so, that anything they don't understand will automatically be a focal point to blame an entire game on. If a player makes one bad mistake (or even gets outplayed by the enemy), teammates will accuse them of being bad and refuse to play their part in the team from then on.

This goes for items, summoner skills, and champs in new lanes. Even picking Bard right now can cause your teammates to not play the game!

This game is won or lost in the first 10 minutes now because of emotional reactions by a largely ignorant and immature playerbase. Whichever teams works together and makes early plays, will cause the losing team to not try and blame the people who died.

I could go forever on behavioral instances that are causing the real problems in this game, it's not the language. The players causing the problems that effect everyone will not be targeted by this. They will stay in the grey area of language while intentionally wasting teammates time, because they feel hurt and cheated out of a win.

It's not the words being used that are making this game miserable. Natural interaction has a self regulation effect. This series of poor attempts at stopping "toxic" behavior have only made the game worse over the years.

PLAYERS: How often are you trying to talk your teammates into trying, and not playing dead till 20?

If you want to make this game a better place for real. Then make a series of videos to educate players about how this dynamic game works, that are short and too the point. Start fresh, your crazy ideas that crowd sourced reports and sci-fi like ban system will NOT fix this game. In my experience, it just makes me more frustrated feeling like my hands are tied behind my back. I'm sure many are feeling this pressure, all while no results are happening.
