Possible Azir Rework
This is my idea for what Riot could do for a rework of
Passive: Azir's soldiers are a permanent item slot (like
passive). He stores up to 3 charges of solders. When activated, spawns a soldier at the location which is untargetable for seconds (not too sure on timings). After seconds, becomes targetable with its own health bar (around that of a minion). The soldiers function the same as pre-rework Azir soldiers except they can proc on-hit effects for the enemy targeted (Not all the enemies that the soldier's auto passes through)
Note: The soldiers all do damage based on Azir's attack damage and a percentage of his AP. The full damage is applied to those targeted by Azir's soldiers (or Azir) while anything caught in the soldier's line of attack take only the AP part of the damage.
Q: Unchanged, except for a reduction in range. Also, soldiers that performed the Q ability cannot be used for an auto attack for o.* seconds.
W: New ability that empowers a sand soldier or ally for 3 seconds. Their auto attacks during this duration do a percentage of Azir's total AP as bonus magic damage.
E: I would return its ability to knock up enemies it passes through. When Azir casts E, he rushes to a targetable soldier, destroying the soldier if he reaches it, and gaining a shield based on the soldiers current health along with a percentage of Azir's AP. If, however, the soldier is killed before Azir reaches it, Azir will immediately stop moving.
R: The wall no longer does damage, but knocks back on initial cast, becoming terrain. I would also return its duration.
The point of the rework would be to make Azir more of a seiging or turtling (if necessary) champion. I left the ability to do the Shurima Shuffle because I believe it is core to his play style. The major goals of this was to try and remove the oppressive nature of the soldiers in lane, make Azir more risky to play (removing his high consistent damage from far-range) and give viability to AD Azir.
This is still just an idea, so please give me some ideas, or tell me how effective this might be.
