Think I'm going to quit ranked S5->g4 is troll/toxic and p5 is all troll/toxic too

I got placed in s5 for starters. Tried playing support. Got nowhere cuz bad players + toxic, 80% of the games were horrible. I had to solo queue a carry lane to get out of silver and gold. finally got out of gold into plat. I thought plat would be better.

Plat 5 is like silver 5. Same toxicity and very dumb players.

I think g2/3 was the best in terms of game enjoyment. 80% of the time, people tried, and weren't toxic/troll.

p5 games are like, 20% good. the rest of the time thanks to riot queue. I get 30-7 type of games + toxic. silver 5 was exactly the same as p5 in terms of game score & toxicity?

Is it my imagination?

I've always heard pros and high level players say Plat is the worst in terms of everything

A lot of players now are getting ELO Boosted and or are ELO Boosting to Platinum or however far they can get on their friend's account. Maybe that's a reason.

I was gold 5 about 3 weeks ago. Half the people on my friends list were gold 5. This season is terrible because even tho we worked our asses off to get there, we fell because we hit a few games in a row of intentional feeders and toxic trolls. Sure we had a few bad games ourselves, but the fact that ranked is not a true determination of your skill, but your determination of can you pick op champions and get a good premade is STUPID.

I queue solo and it's disgusting me. Once I hit back gold, I'll only play games to keep my gold til they finally realize that dynamic queue needs to be either removed or more beneficial to solo players.

It doesn't get any better higher up.

The only good thing is you get a different badge.

I really wonder if it is dynamic queue / boosting that makes the games so lop sided.

I was thinking it was Diamond players still leveling, but unless someone can show some 'stats'. It's hard to guess.
