why is ekko melee?

I play him glass cannon ap mage, only use his dash to teleport to last hit champions.

Try to think of Ekko being ranged. It really doesn't sound like a time-travelling/warping kid who will do anything in his power to avoid the inevitable, does it?

Also, his Q is already on some bullshit 4 second cooldown or something along those lines.
