League of Shields

Why is Soraka not as much played as Janna and Lulu? Because of this. Grievous Wounds would be an amazing idea to counter shields like Janna and Lulu. Those champions are a huge pain to play against as an assassin. It's normal, I know but I think having something like that would be more balanced. It would be just like Soraka. Help us dealing with shields... Lulu and Janna(shielders) would be on equal terms with Soraka(healers) with that Grievous Wounds buff. They wouldn't become useless, but they would require better timing. I would be able to have a minimum of respect for them.

Why always when someone is talking about shields its only janna lulu? If they nerf shields they gonna nerf ryze too, kaisa, sterak users and many more champions not only Janna and lulu

Because aside from shields, Janna and Lulu are also notorious for being the queens of cockblocking everyone, but especially assassins and divers. They have more tools aside from their point and click shields that are a huge “fuck you” to any and all enemies.

Other supports with shields tend to not be so peel-centric. Rakan is more focused on catching, with his shields mostly being used in trades and fights and wanting to engage more rather than react. Thresh has to throw his lantern on someone to give them a shield. Morg’s only magic damage (fuck the spellshield tho).

That’s not to say other shields ARENT annoying, they are, but people point out Janna and Lulu more because the combo of their shields AND the rest of their kits.

Is Janna's & Lulu's shield on a 4 second cooldown?
What kind of champion rushes an Executioner in the early game stages? Better yet, does an enemy champion's Ignite have it on a 4 second cooldown?
