Climbing with ashe
So like many others I'd like to climb out of bronze and am very determined to do it this season so would anyone like to give me some tips on how to climb out with ashe?

The best tip I can give as far as Ashe goes is to just stop playing Ashe. She's not very good in this meta and there are flat out better adcs.
Ashe main with 850k mastery, this is actually true. She doesn't hard carry unless super fed but you can't get super fed on her unless your team let's you. It's a catch 22 situation, because she doesn't do enough alone to get fed. Ashe leaves you at your teams mercy. She has no mobility and little self peel. She plays the macro game better than any other marksman but in bronze your team probably doesn't even know what that word means, so you need to play a more simple, and damage focused pick.
Learn to CS, aim for 40 CS at five minutes and remember that as the carry, you not dying is worth more than one kill.
My reccomendation would be Kog. You play similarly in that you are a slow, immobile carry. But you do way more damage.
Ashe main here. My advice is to just cross your fingers and hope for the best.
ha that's kind of what it feels like
The big trick with her is positioning, and abusing the early/mid game (as she falls off massively lategame). Try to get your support to play something with poke, and be trigger-happy with arrows. A shot not fired is the same as a miss.

Are we talking about the same champion?
Unless you consider decent CC as "massive" then yes. There's a reason that her/jhin are lumped into the title of "utility botlaners", most of which comes from the fact that they can't really deal with tanks once they get a few items.
Ashe is a cross between utility and hypercarry and is actually great at dealing with tanks if you know how to play her.
Ashe actually can do more damage than any other carry late game and I can prove it with simple math.
I've enjoyed taking Bloodthirster/Lifesteal first as Ashe so I can be more aggressive in lane and have a buffer in trades. Though I don't main Ashe, the times I play her like this it goes quite well.
If you have balls of steel take ghost. :^)
Focus on : Getting good farm, protecting towers, not dying.
As you get better at those three things try to learn when you can get away with auto attacking enemies and towers( a clear indication you not being able to very away with it is you dying)
Gl I first got into plat by playing almost only Ashe.
