So Xerath

Insane range, no deduction in damage over minion waves, seems like he uses almost no mana during the event and an ult with absurd range?

Xerath Main.

No escapes, very squishy, sitting duck in his ult.

Also very boring champion purely made out of skillshots and lacks thematic abilities. With a being made out of energy one would guess he's able to harness his powers more versatilely. In other words, he lacks zoning.

E change: Xerath hurls an orb of energy at the target direction stunning the first enemy hit. If the orb doesn't hit anything it will stay at the end of the skillshot for few minutes stunning (and maybe dealing damage to) the first enemy walking into it. Casting a spell on the orb will overcharge it making it explode after few seconds dealing damage and slowing/stunning enemies in a blast radius.

It fits him, it gives him what he needs, it would make him more interesting. It could also make him too powerful.

But overall I think it's quite important for a skillshot reliant champion to have zoning tools. Ziggs, Lux, Zyra, Zilean and bunch of other skillshot champions have the tools to zone the enemy. Xerath just deals damage and has to hope that the enemy won't dodge all his skillshots. I wouldn't say his W, E or R are considered zoning tools.

His weakness is quite clear. Get close to him and kill him. He's very immobile and squishy.
