How do i beat fiora 1v1? Can anything beat her?

The backround to how this question came up :

So when i started playing league i had my two friends teaching me about the game and why champions have certain lanes and all that, a couple of moths ago i decided to finally make all new rune pages and masteries for my champions and challenge my friend who had tought me almost everything about the game when i started (early season 6, like maybe march). I considered him to be an absolute god even though he was only around bronze 2 at the time and i was bronze 5. So we went into the game and it was draft pick, i picked veigar as i had started playing him recently and saw how much burst dmg he can do late game (we were deciding who won the 1v1 by who takes who's nexus). He picked gangplank, oh no i thought, its over, he can just use his shitty little ornages to get out of my stun and just run around so i cant hit my skillshots. but either way i ended up winning because i had more lane pressure and he had to back when he was low, letting me get towers. So after that i felt great, i felt like i had finally supassed my 'master' if you will. Then my second friend (who calls himself faker and a god even though he is in bronze aswell) Says that he could demolsh me in a 1v1 without even letting me get a kill on him. I was kind of annoyed at this as he was just a friend of the one that i just 1v1'd and i didnt really like him talking to me like he'd already beat me. So i verse him (he was generally the same skill level as my other friend) and he picks fiora into my . 'Okay' i think 'This cant be that bad', 'she is melee after all' NOPE he completly disintegrates my health bar and i get some kills but not enough, he wins. So we took a break and after weeks of him talking like i am some shitlord that needs to worship his greatness because hes pretty much diamond its just his team letting him down, i finally verse him again, i pick fizz and he picks fiora again (its blind pick) so i get some good damage off but im he just reposts me after i E and even if he doesnt get the repost he will just ult me when he hits 6 and send me to the next dimension with all the damage he does. After that humiliation he continues to shit talk me and call me trash even when we duo que and he does badly (he went 1/15 as morgana last game) when i call him out for it he will just remind me that he can apparently dumpster me if we 1v1. Thats why i made this post.

The actual rant/question: Okay so after being beaten the first time by fiora in a straight 1v1 i looked up all her item builds/spells/cooldowns and i went into the second 1v1 with her AND I STILL GOT DUMPSTERED. Seriously can ANYONE beat her??? I guess what i really want to know is how can I beat her? I know that i could probably beat or atleast go even with my friend who is shit talking me if he went another champ but he just plays fiora when we 1v1 and i feels if i say 'dont play fiora' or something to get him to not play her it still wont feel complete even if i do beat him, what i want to do it when hes playing his most bullshit/best champion BUT I CANT no matter what i do he just repost's my cc or just ults and wins the game. Why do not many people play her? She is seriously bullshit and when i look up how to 1v1 her people just say 'You cant' and 'Get your jungler to gank you' well this is a 1v1 and i dont have a jungler so thats out of the question. I seriously dont know how to beat him on this champion and i would really apreciate it if someone told me why no one plays her/ how to beat her. Thank you for your time and for reading this long post.
