Way to ruin Fiddlesticks.

Thanks for ruining my favorite champ. His passive was the only thing he had going for him and you pretty much turned him into a champ with no passive. Sure, you only 'edited' his passive, but in reality what you did was take his passive completely away. No thanks. Not only did you take away his AOE passive of magic penetration, but then you decide to ruin his E by making the silences not stack. Unless you're going to add more damage to it, don't make it where it prioritizes non silenced targets. That means his farming capabilities are GONE. Unless you're jungle with him, he has zero farm chance. it's just hitting a few minions without it ever hitting them multiple times to actually get the kill. you just weaken them so your minions get the CS. Riot, this was a terrible nerf. Terrible, terrible nerf. I didn't even have to play him like this to see, the patch notes tell all on exactly how worthless of a champ Fiddlesticks is now.

I think you're exaggerating the effects of the changes. By a long shot.

The stacking silences from his E was a bad case of RNG that nobody wanted to deal with.

What you're failing to realize is they made E not hit the same target twice unless it has no new targets in range. This is dumb because you hit MORE minions instead of a few minions a bunch of times. More mana usage, less damage, making dorans ring ineffective, making farming before level 7 darn near impossible.

...who the fukk uses Fiddlesticks as a mid laner?

Fiddlesticks is a good counter to some champions people find hard to deal with.

Fiddlesticks sh1ts on Ryze, Fizz, Katarina, Zed, etc.

No, I understand what you are saying. What I'm saying is that it has no effect on wave clear because it still bounces the same amount of times. This will have little to no effect unless it is a huge minion wave, in which case it would almost never bounce between the same target twice anyways.

The damage dealt is the same, only difference being you may have to auto each minion once instead of autoing one minion 3 times while the other dies to E. If you are decent at last hitting this should not be an issue.

Or you learn how to last hit. Or just go jungle, it's safer for him to just jungle at low elo anyway.

Because 3.5 second silences are so fun. Try playing him again before bitching about it.

His ult is much weaker due to having 10 less mpen.

Doesn't doing damage apply the mpen, meaning that it still has the mpen?

"Dealing magic damage or casting Terrify applies Dread to enemies for 2.5 seconds, reducing their magic resistance by 10"

I mean, that sounds like the ult will still have the mpen to me.

As someone who mains fiddlesticks, what the actual hell was the reason behind this change??? Making it not double silence was fine. Taking away the passive? I play supportsticks and ten less MPen is huge when you are not stacking The same AP of a mid/junglesticks.

And I haven't had a chance to test the bounce, if it does in fact spread the bounces out that can be good and bad in some cases.

It clearly states in the patch notes at http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/patch/patch-421-notes#patch-fiddlesticks the following :

E - Dark Wind new BOUNCE ALL DAY Now prioritizes targets not yet hit by Dark Wind

removed CRAZY LONG SILENCES Dark Wind can still hit targets multiple times, but it will now only silence them once

This says it does spread it around, so no bulk play.

I'm sorry that you got bummed that Fid requires skills now.

Not like his silence was his strength anyways. His fear is what carries games.

Both changes seem unnecessary.

I mean if players didn't want stacking silences then they shouldn't try to fight a fiddle with only 1-2 other targets around.

The passive changes again seem unnecessary. I don't see why it is changed up beyond riot's misguided crusade against auras.

Uhh no.

Dealing magic damage or casting Terrify applies Dread to enemies for 2.5 seconds, reducing their magic resistance by 10

So the moment fiddle deals any kind of magic damage regardless of the source, the target now has 10 less magic resist, there isn't an enormous amount of change here.
