Ranking system BROKEN!

Me and my friend have recently gotten back into the game and are currently working our way out of silver. But what we've realized is that no matter how good we actually perform in our own lane, we cant seem to win a single game. So... what happens? well, most of the time we both do really really good, tbh its too easy. We tend to win our lane and continue to help out other lanes granting us the lead. We both tell our team what to do, how to play and who to focus in fights, despite all that people with less experience thinking they own the world cause we have the lead jump in... 1v2, 1v3 and even 1v4 sometimes. As you can understand ts frusturating for us to know that no matter what we do, people still tend to throw games away. What I'm trying to say is that the ranking system doesn't work... at all. Atleast not in silver/gold matches. I've read alot of comments and threads before I decided to write my own, all stating that ''as a plat player, silver is hard''. Mostly cause in a teambased game more often than not you can't carry your whole team. I really think personal performance should impact the way you rank up. The reason why I took a break from league was because of this specific reason. It's hard to get our of ''elo hell''.

Please Riot, if you're reading this fix the ranking system. Sorry for my english, tried to be as clear as possible.

The reason you seem to be losing games is because of your teamates. if they keep making stupid decisions like trying to trade with 1 person while no one is on the map then tell them to stop. Most people seem to listen. Also, if one of you have a lead in either top/mid or if one of you are jgling, then definetley roam bot. when everyones ahead its harder for bad teamates to throw.

This is exactly what I mentioned in my post. But the problem is people abusing their lead, jumping into the enemy thinking they are unkillable, leading to the enemy slowly cathing up, but the person doesn't realize it's their fault, and therefore repeat the same mistake.

Riot doesnt reward you for losing and what they legit need to do is scrap ranked altogether all ranked que does is show who can and cant play the game well however i feel--- (NOW THIS IS MY OPINION SO BEFORE YOU WANNA BE A JAG ABOUT IT YOU DONT HAVE TO AGREE BUT ATLEAST USE COMMON SENSE WHEN REPLYING!) that without ranked people would come together more and the community would be less of a toxic nuisance due to the lack there of a title people in bronze always getting called bronze and so forth however remove the bronze title from the picture and then they are just new to the game

You cant trademark a name of an account you don't technically own lol. Your idea would be great if the idea was to have a happy community of players playing together without the need for determining who the best was. That being said, this game would die within a week without ranked. Many people play this for the challenge of climbing whether they admit it or not. There are some special people who play just for fun but not enough to keep the game rolling. imo

I agree, it wouldn't be very hard to fix the ranking system. Make the losses 10 points and wins 25 points. What this will do is allow people that win because they did well a chance to climb out faster. The ones that feed and afk and lack skill, they will stay lower elo. This will of course create a larger span of "low elo" players. But again, the people that lose most games will stay low and those who win will be able to climb faster. I climbed to gold last season and it was rough. I took a 6 month break. Been playing about a month to get back into it but most games lost are due to teammates. This makes the game extremely frustrating to play.

What they need to do is change the Point system to be you Win you win +10 points (+/- based on your score vs enemy team score) minimum gain +2 Loss is 0

You dont ever lose LP

Those that win go up

Those that lose stay stagnate.

The Ranks would spread out just like they do now and you could go down in rank if you are worse then those around you but losing would not hurt as much because you never see a "Loss" of LP

Also If I win vs a better team, I win say +15 points

If I win vs a lessor team, I win a minimum of +2 points.

Why should stomping a lessor team be rewarded?

Also Riot needs to match teams better. LP point spreads should not be
