Ideas for Teemo Changes

No champion should be so powerful that an item is invented solely to counter them. Teemo has two, the Lightbringer and the Sweeper. Even those are useless if Teemo simply places the mushroom on the edge of the brush. Teemos build ALWAYS includes Sorcs and Liandrys, and usually Rabadons and Void Staff, most likely with Nashors, leading to a very stale and inflexible meta.

Outside of these two items, there is nothing you can do to stop Teemo from tossing a mushroom down every 30 to 16 seconds, and having that area become a 10 minute death trap.

First, reduce the duration. I say 3 minutes. Still gives a long enough duration if he's using them defensively to stock more, and offensively requires forward planning.

Second, remove the slow. It's kind of pointless when an ADC or Mage is going to lose a third of their health to it anyway, especially if you're halfway across the map and unable to even make use of it. This should also reduce the power of Liandrys, making it less of a must-have and merely a strong option.

Third, make them visible if placed in the open. There's no reason you shouldn't see the Yordle-sized mushroom sitting in the middle of lane. In the brush, however, long grass would make it much harder to see.

These changes should prevent Teemo from controlling the entire map with minimal interaction with the enemy team.

I vote just delete teemo. from the game, and any mention of him.

Solely? They're made for use against stealth in general in maps where pink wards are not available. I mostly see them used to deal with Wukongs in 3s, not Teemos.

You can't stop most champions from using non-combat abilities on cooldown. I don't see why this one is the one that upsets you enough to make a board post about it.

If you want me to be honest with you, I think Teemo is the way he is today because of the badly called "olaf" treatment, back in the beta days, the team with Teemo would win without a doubt, he had 2 crazy good iterations of his passive until they gave him the one we know today but let's be honest, Riot didn't know much about balance and champion insight back then, today, NO champion would have teemo's passive since it's really REALLY counter intuitive, some people have learn how to use it well yeah but that doesn't mean it's a good skill.

That applies to Teemo's whole kit, it's iconic, simple and somehow powerful, but in order for it to work, he needs "extra power" in each skill:

P extra: attack speed Q extra: huge AP ratio W extra: passive MS E extra: double proc on first hit R extra: slow

without any of these Teemo would probably scratch the surface for unviability, not like he's super viable today but you CAN make it work. I think that the first thing they should do is try to give Teemo a purpose, to me he's a marksmen that works like a mage, you build AP but you depend on your autos to deal most of your damage and his kit should revolve around such.

my Ideas for a teemo gameplay update:

1.- Merge his E with his passive while removing the extra AS that's almost unnoticeable. you'll still be able to go stealth if you don't move and you'll have your poison from lvl 0, the AP ratio of it would increase per lvl. 2.- Move his AS steroid to move quick's active, they can knock the MS out of you but not your AS. 3.- Add a mechanic to his ult that allowed you to store shrooms through some sort of gameplay, eg: every large monster kill, big minion or champion you gain 1 stack of mushrooms immediately. 4.- as Skernan said, remove shrooms slow but not its stealth 5.- Take some burst off his Q and put it into his new E, what's his new E? I have no clue... what kind of skill would work for Teemo? he's not a champ with many skills today but I'd like to see at least an AA reset

His shrooms are nurfed too much as is; you’re going to make them useless. Teemo can’t replace mushrooms faster than the enemy TEAM can find them, either through vision items or stepping on them. If I’m tanky and have any kind of mr, I’ll go shroom stomping through bushes to get rid of them. Shrooms are his ULT, they are supposed to have game/play changing power.

He needs the shroom numbers and the 10 minute decay because they are usually a passive ult that only works if someone steps on them. Yes, a good teemo keeps one or two for fights, but other than that, they are passive and he has no control over when/if they will even do any damage.

He needs a team fight buff, such as more on hit “e” damage to get him closer to an ad marksmen, and I daresay maybe a .1 scale up ap damage on the shrooms.
