what do you guys think about the new xin update? i think its total trash and really ruined xin. i main him and loved his style, now its slow and sloppy. what do you guys think

How is it slow and sloppy? It's the exact same champion with a new ability and effect on his ult. The only real difference is that your Q doesn't do a shit ton of damage on each strike now, it requires a brain to deal more damage.

He's probably talking about the slower swinging animations on his Q, the clunky "turn inertia" animation on his walk that they put in this patch (which RiotXenogenic said they were rolling back due to complaints), the slower actual base attack speed, the 0.6 second cast delay on his new W (old W was instantaneous), or any combination of these that make reworked Xin Zhao noticeably clunkier than before.

He's not "the exact same champion with a new ability and effect on his ult" as you put it, and maybe if you weren't so quick to disparage him it would make you look less like an ass.

Honestly I'm fine with the W's speed, you don't just use it to use it, use it when you either E onto someone or airborne them with Q.

I also played Xin today and before the update, he doesn't feel much different outside of Q doing less damage and E having attack speed.

Just because you're fine with it doesn't mean he is. I'm fine with his rework too given that Riot has already said they'll adjust if he's too weak, but I understand why the others aren't happy about the lower damage and the clunkiness.

couldn't have said it any better. but yes, those were my points. he is still a good champ and i get on average at least 6+ kills a game. usually goes up to 10. but he feels so slow compared to what he used to be.

they gave him a rengar q just like sejuani, they were so proud of it they were all "let's do this thing" it's the new 3 hit passive. it should have been more what other people were saying it to be, let it be a triple cast to aim and press 3 times.

Xin Zhaos new update has made less bursty for sure but much more effective level 1 and 2 and it also makes much more of a thinking champ than his old e-w-q-r delete combo made him at first. Tgis doesn't make him worse though I have gotten two pentas since the new update which as a xin main I have gotten maybe 3 times before. they gave hi e and ult much more damage and his w is simply beautiful for locking down kills.

i agree that it is utter trash this is the second time they have taken a champ that could lane and jungle and made him only good in the jungle after their reworks i can no longer use him or warwick top and both used to work.

I don't know, I just hate that if want the attack speed you need to use E. Also the pathetic base damage on Q and the twirls it does when you activate it, so you can't AA>Q>AA immediately but it takes a moment before the auto after Q lands.
